Salman Khan pays a visit to CM Mamata Banerjee’s house

Salman Khan arrived in Kolkata late Saturday afternoon. Images of him arriving at West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee’s home in the Kalighat district have appeared online. 

The actor is in town for his Da-Bangg Tour and will perform live at East Bengal Club on Saturday.

Salman met with Mamata Banerjee ahead of the show. In the footage the news agency ANI provides, the actor is seen coming to the CM’s residence with his protection. 

He was seen in a light blue shirt with grey trousers and sunglasses. His bodyguard Shera was observed close to him.

As soon as Salman Khan stepped out of his car, the paparazzi in Kolkata began calling him “bhaijaan.” The actor folded his hands when he saw Mamata waiting for him outside her house. 

The CM greeted him with a blanket around his neck. In front of the journalists, the two exchanged pleasantries.

Before entering the residence, the actor paused and came forward to pose for the journalists. Salman waved, saluted, and folded his hands before the camera. Before they entered the building, Mamata Banerjee joined him for photos.

ANI said the actor spent about 30 minutes at the chief minister’s residence. They also stated that security had been enhanced at Salman’s hotel.

This will be Salman’s first performance in Kolkata in a long time. He’s performing at the club, which recently marked its 100th anniversary. 

Guru Randhawa, Jacqueline Fernandez, Sonakshi Sinha, Pooja Hegde, and Maniesh Paul will also appear in the show, in addition to Salman.

Previously, spectators were observed responding to the show’s ticket costs. They start at 699 and may go up to 40,000. If you want lounge access, expect to pay between 2 and 3 lakhs.

Salman’s most recent outing Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, did poorly at the movie office following critical acclaim. 

He was also seen in a cameo appearance when he resurrected his classic character Tiger in Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan. He’ll next be seen in Tiger 3 alongside Katrina Kaif.
