Sai Pallavi Reveals Yash’s Son Cried Over Ravana Killing Bird in Ramayana

Yash’s children, Yatharv and Ayra, watched their father on the big screen for the first time at the Los Angeles premiere of Ramayana, directed by Nitesh Tiwari. The actor, his wife Radhika Pandit and their little ones attended the screening of the mythological epic. Afterwards, Yatharv had one complaint about his father, according to a viral interview clip.

Sai Pallavi Interrupts to Share the Story

In the clip, shared on X, Yash said his children had plenty of questions after the film. He explained that their lives are just beginning and that they are still learning how to behave and respect others. As he began describing his son’s reaction, his co-star Sai Pallavi stepped in and revealed it herself. She shared that Yatharv did not like seeing his father’s character, Ravana, kill a bird in the film, which stars Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Rama.

Yash Explains Acting to His Son

Yatharv’s reaction reflected a young child’s innocence and moral sensitivity. According to the report, he told his father that he did not like him killing the bird. Yash gently explained that Ravana is only a character he plays on screen. He told his son that the story’s real message is to follow the path of righteousness shown by Lord Rama. The moment helped Yatharv understand the difference between acting and real-life values.

Yash had earlier been reported to be planning to take his children to theatres for Ramayana. The LA premiere gave the family their first shared cinema experience of the actor’s film. The anecdote has since drawn warm reactions online, with fans praising the child’s honest response and the actor’s thoughtful parenting.

Ramayana, a major mythological production, features Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi and Yash in key roles.
