racial abuse after United States witnesses its worst civil unrest in decades.
After an unarmed black man, George Floyd, got killed by a police officer in Minneapolis, the United States saw its worst civil unrest in decades, as protesters started showing their outrage against police brutality and racism. Major cities in the US have imposed curfews to contain the protesters; this killing has irked the common citizens as well as top tech CEOs of the country.
CEO of Apple, Tim Cook:
Tim Cook,
the CEO of Apple, sent a memo to employees addressing the larger
issue of racism in the present United States’ climate. Cook condemned the
merciless killing and also admitted that racial injustice still exists in the
country in various sectors, from the criminal justice system to disparity in
educational opportunities.

Google and YouTube put a black ribbon on its home page in the US to
show their solidarity and support the movement, on Sunday. Pichai expressed his
