Massive Fire at Rajkot TRP Game Zone Claims Several Lives; Watch Visuals From the Site

More than 20 people died after a massive fire broke out at the TRP Game Zone in Rajkot, Gujarat, on Saturday. The blaze engulfed the entire facility, trapping several people, including children.

Rescue Operations Underway at Rajkot TRP Game Zone Fire:

Four fire brigade cars rushed to control the fire and initiate rescue operations. Efforts to rescue any trapped individuals are ongoing.

The fire erupted at a temporary structure at the TRP Game Zone. According to news agency PTI, the cause of the fire remains unknown. The structure’s collapse and strong winds have hampered firefighting efforts.

Statements from Officials on the Rajkot TRP Game Zone Fire:

Rajkot Police Commissioner Raju Bhargav stated that several people are feared trapped inside the facility, and a clear assessment can be provided once the fire is fully extinguished.

Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel emphasized that authorities have been instructed to prioritize immediate treatment for the injured. He tweeted, “Instructions have been given to the Municipal Corporation and the administration for immediate rescue and relief operations in the fire incident in the game zone in Rajkot.”

Report by Fire Official:

Fire Officer IV Kher reported difficulties in the firefighting operation due to the wind and the collapse of the temporary structure. “The reason for the fire is yet to be ascertained. 

The attempts to douse the fire are underway. We have not received any message of missing persons. We are facing difficulty in the firefighting operation because the temporary structure has collapsed and due to wind velocity,” Kher told news agency ANI.
