The App Store is among the main revenue generators for the services division of Apple, but the percentage it takes from app manufacturers has been criticized by some regulators and developers over the past year.
Apple introduced a new program last month that reduces developers’ fees to 15 per cent of sales, down from 30 per cent for those who receive $1 million or below in annual App Store revenues.
