For one of its private jets, Netflix is hiring a flight attendant, with the chosen candidate earning up to $385,000 (£313,538) annually.
The world’s largest streaming service claims to be looking for candidates with “outstanding customer service skills, independent judgement, and discretion.”
The ability to “operate with little direction and a lot of self-motivation” should also be a requirement.
Following a decline in subscribers, Netflix cut hundreds of jobs the previous year.
“Typically, the market range for this position is between $60,000 and $385,000. In keeping with our compensation philosophy, this market range is based on total compensation rather than just base salary, “In a job posting on its website, Netflix stated.
The business also claimed that “compensation factors” like an employee’s background, experience, and skills are considered when determining an employee’s pay.
Based in San Jose, California, the job involves domestic and international travel.
The statement read, “Netflix Aviation Department offers exceptional, secure, and private air transportation.”
For Netflix to keep spreading joy around the globe, the team “helps Netflix reach the world more efficiently and effectively,” the advertisement continued.

When loading and stocking aeroplanes, they will also need to be able to lift objects weighing up to 13.6 kg (30 lb).

A Netflix spokesperson told the BBC when contacted by the broadcaster that the company “will not be commenting” on the specifics of how it determines the pay of its flight attendants.
The company is expected to release its earnings for the final three months of 2022 on Thursday.
In the 3 months following the end of September of the previous year, Netflix reported adding 2.4 million households to its subscriber base, reversing a decline in subscriber numbers.
