Xbox Design Lab is temporarily shut down by Microsoft, which helps users to customizecustomize their controllers’ colours and graphics. The service will shut down on October 14 and will return sometime in 2021 with more updates.
The Xbox Design Lab program was launched by Microsoft in August 2016. The software began as a revolutionary way to make it easier for users to customizecustomize colours.
The software has introduced more personalizationpersonalization options since its launches, such as engravings, patterned top cases, metallic accents, and partner logos.
“We enjoyed seeing the creative designs you made and how games, special moments in your lives, sports, and even favourite shoes shared through # XboxDesignLab through social media were included in your design inspiration,” Microsoft said in a tweet.
When it returns next year, the firm has not stated what additional changes it will add. However, Microsoft informed everyone that it is planning Xbox accessories for the next generation.
Separately, for Xbox controllers, Microsoft announced new options. These include Shock Blue, Carbon Black’s Xbox Wireless Controller. In addition to Carbon Black for the Xbox Series X and Robot White for the Xbox Series S, new options are available.
The company has revised its solution for rechargeable batteries as well. A new Xbox Rechargeable Battery + USB-C Cable has been introduced. Plug the rechargeable battery in there.
In less than four hours before, after, or while you’re playing, it can completely charge your controller.
Microsoft also focuses, in addition to hardware, on enhancing the app experience.
The company introduced a new Xbox app last week for Android users. The new program enables Xbox games to be played remotely by users.
In line with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X and Series S, the Xbox app also comes with an updated interface that includes a modern dashboard. The new Xbox app is now available for Android users in beta. There is no news on when iOS users will be available for the overhauled program.
