OnePlus 10T 5G: things you need to know before it launches

OnePlus 10T 5G: things you need to know before it launches

The OnePlus 10T 5G will be released next week, and the next OnePlus flagship phone will also be a T series device released in the middle of the year. So far, the company has bullied us with OnePlus 10T 5G features, including the latest flagship Snapdragon CPU. Surprisingly, the OnePlus 10 Pro was released earlier this year, while the standard OnePlus 10 model was never released.

Everything about new hardware: The OnePlus 10T will be the first device to use the Snapdragon 8 Gen+ 1 CPU. Qualcomm recently unveiled a new processor, which is now available on smartphones. The new chipset has received positive feedback, with improved performance and battery efficiency. The new chipset was developed in collaboration with TSMC, which may explain the differences. The OnePlus 10T 5G could have 8GB or 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage.

Fast charging: The OnePlus 10 Pro was the first phone to support 80W fast charging. Which is now available on phones for half the price.

The OnePlus 10R came with 150W fast charging capabilities, and the OnePlus 10T 5G is expected to have the same.

It’s all about the designs: Despite the lack of a curved display. The invention has been tweaked slightly, and the arrangement of the cameras on the back feels different from that of the OnePlus 10 Pro. You’ll also notice that the alert slider and the Hasselblad logo have been removed for reasons explained by the company. OnePlus has consistently provided high-quality display quality on its devices, and the OnePlus 10T is expected to be no exception.

Price: The OnePlus 10T will be less expensive than the OnePlus 10 Pro. But based on experience, the next OnePlus flagship phone could be priced around Rs 49,000. Currently, most of OnePlus’s devices are in the luxury category, whereas Nord is aimed at the mid-range market. So it’ll be interesting to see whether OnePlus plays it safe or goes for the kill with its upcoming flagship smartphone.
