On July 17, 2024, a case of a minor girl being lost came to light. The minor girl was reunited with her family and loved ones through the commendable work done by the airport police, especially Police Inspector (PI) Sandip Khambhla of the airport police station, along with the SHE Team.

The police commissioners of Ahmedabad, Gujarat, and other officials have established a unique SHE Team. This team, under the guidance of the respective police commissioners of different zones in the city and the airport police, PI Sandip Khambhala, is dedicated to providing assistance and help. They work tirelessly to ensure the safety, security, and well-being of women, children, and senior citizens, and they are committed to creating awareness about various issues in society and communities.

The SHE Teams are proactive in their approach, conducting patrolling in public places and other areas like bus stops, parks and cinemas. Their aim is to ensure the safety of all, while creating awareness among the public. Their presence and varied activities are aimed at preventing crimes and providing immediate assistance to those in need.

One such case came to light when it was reported that on July 17, 2024, a minor girl was lost. The PI of airport police, Sandip Khambhala, along with the SHE Team, successfully assisted her in finding her way back to her home. The young girl was found wandering alone. Hence, Khambhla and his team discovered that she was lost and thus made sure to gain more details about her and provide her with the necessary assistance.

PI Sandip Khambhala, with his team, conducted a thorough inquiry and discovered that the minor girl was lost and was unable to find her way back home. He and the SHE Team promptly contacted her family and ensured her safe return. After general questioning, they discovered that the young girl came from Madhya Pradesh’s small village. She provided them with her elder brother’s number. The police contacted him, which is how they helped her reach her home in Madhya Pradesh.
