Foundation Day Address and Campaign Kickoff

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is embarking on a two-day visit to Gujarat, his home state, commencing on Wednesday.

The visit coincides with Gujarat’s Foundation Day, adding significance to the occasion. Modi’s itinerary includes addressing six public meetings across 11 Lok Sabha constituencies in Gujarat.

Day 1: May 1

On May 1, Modi will commence his campaign with two public meetings. The first will be held in Deesa, located in the Banaskantha district, targeting Lok Sabha constituencies of Banaskantha and Patan. Subsequently, he will address another gathering in Himmatnagar of Sabarkantha district.

Day 2: May 2

Continuing his campaign blitz, Modi will address public meetings in four locations on May 2. These include Anand, Wadhwan in Surendranagar, Junagadh, and Jamnagar. Each of these events will be strategically positioned to bolster support for specific Lok Sabha constituencies.

With just days remaining until voting day on May 7, Modi’s presence aims to galvanize support and rally voters behind the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidates across these constituencies.

Upcoming Election Dynamics

The upcoming Sabha elections in Gujarat will see 25 out of 26 constituencies going to vote on May 7, with Mukesh Dalal of the BJP having secured an uncontested victory in Surat.
