Pooja Bhatt her walk with Rahul was not ‘brief,’ and she reveals how far she walked
Pooja Bhatt traveled with Rahul Gandhi on the Hyderabad leg of his Bharat Jodo Yatra.
She responded to a tweet by saying she had only ‘briefly’ joined Rahul.
On Wednesday, actor Pooja Bhatt joins Congress leader Rahul Gandhi for the Hyderabad portion of the Bharat Jodo Yatra. She walked alongside Rahul,also demonstrating her support for the party and the leader.
She has now responded to a tweet claiming that she only walked with the politician for a “few minutes.” news states, “Actress-filmmaker Pooja Bhatt briefly join the Congress party’s Bharat Jodo Yatra.” This morning, the Yatra resumed from Hyderabad, Telangana.”
People on social media praised her for her tweet. “Respect @PoojaB1972,” tweeted Gauahar Khan. ” Also Finally, someone from Bollywood has the courage….,” one person wrote. Congratulations, Pooja…much love.”
Another tweet said, “Hopefully, it will elucidate others to do the same.”
On social media, the actor-director-producer has been vocal about various issues. The actress, the daughter of veteran filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt, deliver critically acclaim performances in films such as Dil Hai Ki Manta Nahin, Sadak, Phir Teri Kahani Yaad Aayee, Sir, also Zakhm before branching out into production and directing with Tammana, Sur, Paap, and Holiday.
On September 7, the Bharat Jodo Yatra began in Kanyakumari, Tamil Nadu. Rahul Gandhi finish the marathon walk in Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, also Andhra Pradesh before starting the Telangana leg last week. To coordinate the yatra, the Telangana state Congress has formed ten special committees.
Pooja was most recently seen in R Balki’s Chup. She appeared in the film alongside Dulquer Salmaan, Sunny Deol, also Shreya Dhanwanthary. The plot of the film is a romantic psychopath thriller. The film is said to be a tribute to master filmmaker Guru Dutt also his 1959 classic Kaagaz Ke Phool.
