Akshay Kumar’s film Prithviraj exudes grandeur, patriotism, and bravery. The latest magnum opus from Yash Raj Films has been in the news for a long time, and based on the trailer released on Monday; we can see how its team has gone to good lengths to make it an impressive historical drama.
The Prithviraj trailer is jam-packed with heavy-duty dialogue and histrionics. From the larger-than-life war sequences to the exuberant art direction. YRF has left no stone unturned to provide audiences with a historical drama that does justice to the plot.
Akshay Kumar as Prithviraj Chauhan looks convincing, especially since we’ve seen him deliver intense dialogue in previous films. The supporting cast, Sanjay Dutt and Sonu Sood, are reminiscent of their previous work. Manushi Chhillar, who plays Prithviraj Chauhan’s wife Sanyogita, gets some screen time in the trailer and looks lovely. While Ashutosh Rana appears briefly, actor Manav Vij plays Muhammad of Ghori.
Based on medieval poet Chand Bardai’s epic poem Prithviraj Raso, the period drama stars Akshay. As the Rajput emperor and former Miss World Manushi Chhillar as Sanyogita. This is her first appearance in Bollywood.

Chandraprakash Dwivedi wrote and directed the film. In a previous interview, the director of Chanakya, Mohalla Assi, and Pinjar discussed how he lived with the story for nearly two decades.
Meanwhile, Akshay described Prithviraj as a synthesis of “history, patriotism, the portrayal of the values. That we should live by, and also tells a rare love story.” He expressed his admiration for Prithviraj Chauhan’s story. “I was awed by how he lived also breath every second of his glorious life for his country and values,” the actor said.
Sanjay Dutt, Sonu Sood, Manav Vij, Ashutosh Rana, Sakshi Tanwar, and Lalit Tiwari also appear in Prithviraj. It will be release on June 3rd by Yash Raj Films.
