R Madhavan on Vivek Agnihotri’s The Vaccine War, Gutsy

Actor R Madhavan has heaped respect on director Vivek Agnihotri’s upcoming film The Vaccine War. Madhavan says he is “totally blown out of his mind.” 

R Madhavan shared a poster on Instagram on Monday. Madhavan described Vivek Agnihotri as a “master storyteller who makes you cheer, applaud, weep, and euphoric all at the same time.”

R Madhavan appreciates Vivek Agnihotri:

“Just saw The Vaccine War and was totally blown out of my mind by the spectacular sacrifices and achievements of the Indian scientific community, which made India’s very 1st vaccine and kept the nation safe during the most difficult period, told by a Master Storyteller who causes you cheer, applaud, weep, as well as euphoric, all at the same time,” he captioned the post.

He further added, “Stellar performances by the entire cast so beautifully depict the sacrifices and the sheer grit of our Indian scientists ( ladies) aptly and impact-fully. Take a huge bow, team #TheVaccineWar .. the Indian scientific community owes your debt of gratitude as we to them..(national flag and emojis of folded hands); go see the movie in the theatres and make sure to buy a ticket for your superwoman helped you survive the lockdown. All about the movie The Vaccine War:

Vivek recently gave a special screening of the film in the United States. Vivek directs the film and stars Nana Patekar, Anupam Kher, Raima Sen, and Pallavi Joshi in the key roles. 

The film will be released in theatres on September 28. The Vaccine War is anticipated to ‘open specific chapters about Indian bio-scientists and indigenous vaccines’. 

The film also honours the commitment of the medical community and scientists during the uncertain phases of the Covid-19 pandemic.
