Rain in Ahmedabad: City to Get Relief from Heatwave

Rain in Ahmedabad: Rain is expected to arrive in Anand by Saturday, after having started in the state’s eastern belt, and reach the Ahmedabad-Gandhinagar area by Sunday.

According to the IMD’s forecast on Wednesday, isolated locations in Dahod, Chhota Udepur, Dang, Tapi, Navsari, Valsad, and Daman, Dadra, and Nagar Haveli on Thursday and Friday (June 6 & 7) are expected to have light rain or thundershowers.

Rain in Ahmedabad will Also Affect Parts of Saurashtra:

This would extend to Amreli, Bhavnagar, Gir Somnath, and Diu by Saturday in southern Saurashtra. In certain locations across all of the districts of South Gujarat, Ahmedabad, Mehsana, Sabarkantha, Gandhinagar, Aravalli, Kheda, Anand, Panchmahals, Dahod, and Mahisagar, there is a chance of mild to moderate showers or thundershowers on Sunday.

The highest Temperature recorded in Ahmedabad on Wednesday was 41.7°C, 0.8°C higher than the average. The lowest recorded Temperature was 29°C, 0.9°C higher than the average.
