Ranbir Kapoor’s marriage plans with girlfriend Alia Bhatt
They both have been confirmed: ‘We have every intention of marrying soon.’
Marriage is on Brahmastra couple Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s minds, but when it happens is unknown. Ranbir, who was recently promoting his father Rishi Kapoor’s last film Sharmaji Namkeen, confirmed that the couple is planning to marry soon, but he won’t say when.
The actor also discussed his lady love with NDTV, saying, “I won’t give out a date during a media interaction.” But Alia and I intend to marry soon, so hopefully more quickly.”
While Mahesh Bhatt told a tabloid that these are all rumors circulating for some time.
Ranbir Kapoor recently told Film Companion, “I don’t know when I will get married.” We haven’t decided on a date yet. But it’s certainly on the cards. We haven’t printed those cards yet, but they’re on the way!”
Meanwhile, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt recently completed their five-year-long film Brahmastra. The film is set to be released on September 9, 2022.
Although Ranbir and Alia have known each other for many years, they only started dating in 2018 when working together on their upcoming film Brahmastra. The two recently completed the film’s production in Varanasi. It will be Alia and Ranbir’s first time sharing screen time. Fans have speculated whether the couple intends to marry before the film’s September release.
In an interview with NDTV, Ranbir Kapoor stated, “Paagal kutte ne kata hai ki main media ko announce kardu date (No rabid dog has bit me that I would give out date during a media interaction). But Alia and I intend to marry soon, so hopefully soon.”
The Kapoors, on the other hand, have remained tight-lipped about the situation. Rima Jain, Ranbir Kapoor’s late father Rishi Kapoor’s sister, told Pinkvilla, “They will marry, but I’m not sure when. They’ll make a decision, and then you’ll all find out. There’s nothing like it. Hum log me Kuch prepare hi nahin kiya to Shaadi Kaise itni jaldi hogi (We haven’t prepared anything yet, so how can the wedding take place so soon?) If it’s true, it’ll be shocking for me as well. I’m sure the wedding will occur, but I’m not sure when.”
