Rashmika Mandanna Celebrates 30th Birthday in Coorg with Vijay Deverakonda

ollywood’s favorite couple, Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda, recently made headlines with a heartfelt celebration in the scenic hills of Coorg. Marking her 30th birthday on April 5, this was Rashmika’s first birthday since the couple’s intimate February wedding. Opting for a meaningful “return to roots,” the duo traveled to Rashmika’s hometown—often referred to as Kodava—to celebrate alongside their parents and extended family members.

Spiritual Blessings and Traditional Ties

The celebrations began with a visit to the Padi Sri Igguthappa Temple, a significant spiritual site in Coorg. Dressed in a modest saree, Rashmika was seen alongside Vijay, who wore a simple white outfit, as they sought blessings from temple elders and family. Following the temple visit, the couple reportedly hosted a cozy, traditional reception for local relatives and friends. Rashmika honored her heritage by wearing a traditional Kodava saree, while Vijay complemented her in a sharp formal suit, marking their second reception following their Hyderabad event in March.

From Real Life to the Big Screen

While the couple enjoyed their brief hiatus, they have already returned to the sets of their upcoming film, Ranabaali. Directed by Rahul Sankrityan, this project marks their first professional collaboration as a married couple. Fans are eagerly awaiting the “pan-India visual extravaganza,” where Vijay plays the titular role and Rashmika portrays Jayamma. The film is slated for a multi-language release on September 11.

Beyond Ranabaali, Rashmika has a packed 2026 schedule, including the action-thriller Mysaa and the highly anticipated Cocktail 2 with Shahid Kapoor, scheduled for a June 19 release.
