Rohit Sharma’s reaction 1st Test Day in Sri Lanka: Virat Kohli was taken aback by the sharp turn and was left staring at the pitch as the Sri Lankans celebrated.

A replay of the dismissal showed captain Rohit Sharma, who also appeared stunned.

The flat trajectory of the ball forced Kohli to play the ball on the back foot. But he was able to react in time as the ball spun quite a bit and hit his off stump.

Kohli was taken aback by the sharp turn and was left staring at the pitch as the Sri Lankans celebrated. Rohit had been fired earlier in the day for 29. Rohit’s reaction demonstrated how much everyone on the Indian team wanted Virat to succeed in his 100th Test and go on to score a big score.

On the other hand, India is in a good position after Rishabh Pant scored a ferocious 96. As the hosts finished the first day at 257/6, with Ravindra Jadeja and Ravichandran Ashwin unbeaten at the crease.
