The Mumbai Police on Tuesday apprehended two individuals suspected of involvement in the shooting incident that occurred outside the residence of Bollywood actor Salman Khan.
Hailing from Gujarat’s Bhuj district, the arrested shooters are currently under interrogation, with early indications suggesting their affiliation with the notorious Bishnoi Gang.
Gang Link Suspected, Investigation Underway:
According to sources close to the investigation, preliminary findings point towards a possible connection between the detained individuals and the Bishnoi Gang, notorious for its criminal activities.
An officer, preferring anonymity, disclosed that Anmol Bishnoi, sibling of incarcerated gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, asserted responsibility for the gunfire through a social media post. However, conclusive determinations await a thorough interrogation process.
Identification and Legal Proceedings in Salman Khan Residence Shooting:
The police officer overseeing the case identified the arrested parties as Sagar Pal and Vicky Gupta, emphasizing that their identification was facilitated through CCTV footage and advanced technological resources. Scheduled to appear before a Mumbai court, Pal and Gupta will have their police custody sought to facilitate further questioning and investigation.

The assailants allegedly discharged five to six rounds outside Salman Khan’s residential complex situated in Mumbai’s Bandra West at approximately 4:55 am on Monday. Fortunately, neither the actor nor his family sustained injuries as they were asleep.

Following the incident, Anmol Bishnoi asserted responsibility for the attack, warning Salman Khan via social media. Law enforcement authorities have seized the motorcycle employed by the perpetrators and are actively probing into the motives underlying the shooting.
