Salman Khan Appeals to NEET Protesters to Return Home

Bollywood star Salman Khan has once again weighed in on the ongoing demonstrations against alleged NEET examination paper leaks taking place at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi. The actor took to social media to appeal directly to the agitating students, urging them to call off their protest and go back to their families.

Actor Reassures Students and Parents

In a post shared on Instagram, Khan posed with a mug from his Being Human brand and used the caption to address the demonstrators. He stressed that student welfare remains a top concern, both in terms of education and safety, and said parents of the protesting students should not be anxious about their children’s wellbeing. He also referenced a statement from Prime Minister Narendra Modi, expressing confidence that firm action would be taken against those found responsible for the alleged leak. Khan closed his message by asking students to return to their parents and homes.

Message to Sonam Wangchuk

Khan’s appeal extended beyond the students to activist Sonam Wangchuk, who has reportedly been on a hunger strike in connection with the protests. The actor asked Wangchuk to end his fast, encouraging him to rest and resume eating, and even offered to arrange food for him personally.

The controversy stems from allegations of irregularities in the NEET medical entrance exam, which sparked widespread student unrest. According to reports, the Prime Minister has publicly addressed the matter, promising the setup of fast-track courts and strict punishment for those found guilty of compromising the exam process, in an effort to protect students’ academic futures and restore public confidence in the examination system.
