Huma Qureshi has stepped into production with her new crime thriller Baby Do Die Do, in which she plays a mute hitwoman. The film, also starring Chunky Panday and directed by Nachiket Samant, hit theatres on July 3, releasing on the same day as the YRF Spy Universe entry Alpha, led by Alia Bhatt, Bobby Deol, Sharvari, and Anil Kapoor.

By the end of the video, he struggles to even say the title of her movie correctly and instead urges viewers to watch Alpha, leaving Huma visibly stunned.

Despite the light-hearted rivalry online, Baby Do Die Do has been earning praise from critics for its stylish neo-noir tone, sharp dark humor, and what many are calling Huma’s most impressive silent performance to date. However, industry trackers suggest the film could open modestly, with early estimates pegging its first-day collection at around Rs 1 crore, largely due to limited pre-release buzz compared to its bigger-budget competitor.
