Sanjay Raut Arrest: On Monday, a special court in Mumbai orderedMP Sanjay Rautto be detained by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) until August 4. According to officials, the ED has arrested Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut in a money laundering case involving affecting irregularities in the redevelopment of a Mumbai chawl. After more than six hours of questioning at the ED’s zonal office in reading More, Raut, 60, was arrest.

Sanjay Raut and His Family Are Direct Beneficiaries of Crime Proceeds: ED
The ED, represented by special public prosecutor Hiten Venegaonkar. Informed PMLA court judge MG Deshpande that Raut and his family were direct beneficiaries of criminal proceeds. However, senior advocate Ashok Mundargi, who represented Raut, argued that the allegations are vague and motivated by political vendetta.
Sunil Raut believes in the judiciary and thinks he will be release soon.
