Sanju Samson Steers CSK to Eight-Wicket Win Over Delhi Capitals

Sanju Samson produced yet another match-winning display as Chennai Super Kings cruised to an eight-wicket victory over Delhi Capitals in their IPL 2026 clash on Tuesday. Named Player of the Match, Samson remained unbeaten on 87 off 52 balls, laced with seven fours and six sixes, steering CSK home with 15 balls to spare. Kartik Sharma provided able support with an unbeaten 41 as CSK finished at 159/2 in 17.3 overs, chasing down Delhi’s total of 155/7 with ease.

Despite narrowly missing what would have been his third century of the season, Samson maintained that finishing the game for his team was far more satisfying than chasing personal milestones.

For Delhi, Tristan Stubbs contributed 38 while Sameer Rizvi struck an eye-catching 40*, but their total ultimately proved well short against a rampant CSK batting lineup.
