Pakistan vs New Zealand 2nd Test Day 5:

Sarafaraz Ahmed featured with a brave ton as Pakistan had their nerves to tie the second Test versus New Zealand at the National Stadium in Karachi. 

Chasing a mark of 139, Pakistan continued their innings at 0/2 on the last day as Abdullah Shafique and nightwatchman Mir Hamza were out after New Zealand’s fearless declaration. The hosts lost three players in the first session before Sarfaraz Ahmed, and Saud Shakeel established a firm partnership. 

Pakistan appeared to edge nearer to victory after Sarfaraz scored his fourth Test century. However, the hosts lost four players in the last session, including Sarfaraz (118), setting New Zealand back in the driver’s seat. 

But, there was extra drama in stock as Pakistan’s final pair, Naseem Shah and Abrar Ahmed, took the match to the Kiwis bowlers before both sides hugged it to settle for a tie. The two-game series finished 0-0 after the first Test ended in a draw.
