It has been a smooth ride for India in terms of ranking as the top team in the group. But matches India played were nail bitters. India held their nerves in most matches, helping them win and qualify as the top team in T20worldcup2022.
SuryaKumar Yadav and Virat Kohli:
K L Rahul and Rohit Sharma are still not at their best, and we all know they struggle to score runs against good bowling, especially left-handed pacers. England has Sam Curran, who can swing the ball, and Mark Wood, who is currently the fastest bowler in T20worldcup2022.
India depends on the current form of the GOAT Virat Kohli, who proved everyone wrong by playing match-winning knocks in this T20worldcup. Virat Kohli showed everyone that he is still the exact match-winner India needs in big matches. On the other side, SKY, our own Suryakumar Yadav, Mr 360, has played unbelievable shots and knocks, which stunned everyone in Australia.
Even ABD gave him the tag of Mr 360 after the Zim match. His form and bold playing style justify his first position in the ICCT20rankings as a top batsman.
Rohit Sharma’s form:
India highly depends on Virat Kohli and SKY, and the good thing is both are in good form. If Rohit Sharma finds his form in the coming match, no one can stop India from winning this year’s trophy in Australia. KLRahul has found his rhythm. Now it’s high time Rohit Sharma plays a captain knock in Semi-final vs England. If he fires, then England will be blown away for sure.
Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Inform Arshdeep Singh:
The batting of India has been decent, but most importantly bowling of India has been fantastic in this T20worldcup. Both Bhuvi and Arshdeep are bowling well together. Arshdeep builds pressure by taking wickets, and on another side, Bhuvi is not allowing batters to free their arms in the first six overs.
If Arshdeep and Bhuvi show the same form in the coming match, then work for the Indian team will be much easier. Both are in good form, and only these pace bowlers are swinging the ball in Australian conditions.
Yuzvendra Chahal in place of Axar Patel in Semi-final vs England:
Axar Patel’s form could be better, and he has given too many runs in every match. So if you can change Pant in place of Kartik, then Chahal should also come in place of Axar Patel.
India is trying to strengthen the tail, but they are losing one bowler in that process too. Axar is not getting the form, and being a wrist spinner, Chahal currently has an advantage over Axar Patel. We might see Chahal coming in place of Axar Patel. India might not change the winning combination, but this is the one place that is hurting India.
Professional England team:
England’s team is playing well under Stokes’s captaincy. They have a good pace attack. Sam Curran is bowling brilliantly, and Mark wood is troubling the batters in depth overs.
England’s weaker point is middle overs. Stokes is not bowling that much, and Rashid is not performing that well, which might hurt England in Semi-Final.
Indian batting is in tremendous form. If they see the first few overs without losing any wickets, India will have the upper hand in winning the match. India has more match winners than England, which gives it an extra edge in the Semi-final of T20worldcup.
