Realme GT 2 was released in India earlier this week. The phone is a less expensive version of the Realme GT 2 Pro smartphone. The Vanilla GT 2 has a Snapdragon 888 chipset, an AMOLED screen, a 50MP primary camera, and other features.
This is everything you want to know about this phone.
What’s new in the Realme GT 2?
The Realme GT 2 is designed in the same paper-inspired style as the Realme GT 2 Pro. However, the phone comes in three colors: Paper White, Paper Green, and Subtle Steel Black, which lacks the paper-inspired back. This new back panel on the ‘Paper’ variants has a distinct feel and allows for pencil doodles. More information can be seen in our full review of the Realme GT 2 Pro, linked below.
The GT 2 features a 6.62-inch 120Hz FHD+ AMOLED screen, a fingerprint sensor beneath it, and a punch-hole cutout on top.
The phone has a 50MP primary sensor with OIS (optical image stabilization), an 8MP ultrawide sensor, and a 2MP macro camera sensor. There are also two LED flashes on the camera island and a 16MP front camera for selfies and video calls on the front of the phone.
A 5,000 mAh battery with 65W charging, stereo speakers, Dolby Atmos support, and NFC are included. The phone also comes pre-installed with the Android 12-based Realme UI 3.0.
Pricing and availability for the Realme GT 2
The 8GB/128GB variant of the Realme GT 2 costs Rs 34,999, while the 12GB/256GB variant costs Rs 38,999. This low price also makes the device one of the most affordable Snapdragon 888 phones.
