The South Korean technology giant unveiled the Samsung Galaxy XCover6 Pro. According to Samsung, it is the first rugged smartphone with 5G compatibility. The Galaxy XCover6 Pro has a 6.6-inch PLS LCD. It has 6GB of RAM and up to 128GB of extra storage via microSD. Samsung’s Galaxy XCover6 Pro package will include a USB-C cable but no charger. The smartphone will have two cameras, one with a 50-megapixel primary sensor and the other with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens.
Availability of the Samsung Galaxy XCover6 Pro
The price of the Galaxy XCover6 Pro has yet to be announce by Samsung. However, it has been reveal that the Phone will be available in select European, Asian, and Middle Eastern markets beginning in July. It was previously report that the phone would be released on July 13.

In an official announcement on Wednesday, Samsung unveiled its latest offering, the XCover6 Pro. The smartphone’s primary display is a 6.6-inch PLS LCD screen with FHD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 120Hz, protected by Corning Gorilla Glass, Victus+. In addition, it is water and dust-resistant, with an IP68 rating. The Samsung XCover6 Pro weighs 235 grams and measures 168.8mmx79.9mmx9.9mm.
The smartphone’s design specifications were leak earlier, revealing the Galaxy XCover6 Pro with power and volume buttons on the right side and the SIM tray on the left side, surrounded by a red border. The smartphone is also expect to include an optional microSD card for expandable storage. In addition, the handset is the first in the XCover series to support 5G networking, according to Samsung. Other connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6E support.
