TMC MP Kalyan Banerjee compares Finance Minister of India, Nirmala Sitharaman to a “venomous snake”.

Banerjee also called Sitharaman, the “worst Finance Minister in the world” in a rally, in which she also demanded FM’s resignation.

In an all-out brazen attack on the BJP & its ministers, on Sunday, Trinamool Congress’ Lok Sabha leader, Kalyan Banerjee, compared the Union Finance Minister, Nirmala Sitharaman, to a “venomous snake”. The controversial remarks were made by Banerjee who highlighted the FM’s failure to handle the economy of the country and also demanded Sitharaman’s resignation. The BJP spokespersons reacted quickly to the abrasive remarks and criticized the party chief, Mamta Banerjee. BJP allegedly said that the Chief Minister of West Bengal has lost control over her party’s leaders, who out of frustration have uttered nonsense.

Kalyan Banerjee says Nirmala Sitharaman is the worst Finance Minister in the world:

In a protest rally on Saturday, at Bankura against the rising fuel prices and the proposed privatization of trains, TMC MP Kalyan Banerjee, in his address, called Sitharaman the “worst Finance Minister in the world” and demanded Sitharaman’s resignation. The Lok Sabha member said,” Just like a venomous snake kills a human being, people of the country are dying one by one owing to Nirmala Sitharaman who has shattered the country’s economy”. Banerjee also criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi, of giving negative GDP growth rate to Indians instead of the new India, the PM had promised.

BJP initiated a quick response and claimed that Mamata Banerjee has lost control in the eastern state.

West Bengal BJP President, Dilip Ghosh lashed out at the Chief Minister and said,” Corruption has spread in the TMC from top to bottom, they have become puzzled by internal feud and many of them are making senseless comments to divert the attention from the situation prevailing in the ruling party. We don’t give such importance to such comments; they are uttering nonsense out of frustration.”
