Tragic Fire Claims Four Lives in Gujarat Dwarka District

A devastating fire engulfed a residence in Gujarat’s Devbhumi Dwarka district, resulting in the tragic loss of four lives, including that of an infant, early Sunday morning.

Dwarka Fire Incident Details: Blaze Strikes During Sleep:

The fire erupted on the first floor of a house on Aditya Road in Dwarka city around 3:30 am, catching the family off guard while they were asleep. Despite their attempts to escape, the family members could not locate the exit door after the power supply was cut off due to the blaze.

Rescue Efforts and Grim Discovery:

Upon receiving alerts, fire personnel rushed to the scene and discovered the family members, including a couple, their 8-month-old daughter, and the man’s mother, unconscious on the first floor. Tragically, despite prompt medical attention, they were declared dead upon arrival at a government hospital.

Survivor and Suspected Cause:

Fortunately, the man’s grandmother, sleeping on the ground floor, escaped unharmed. Preliminary investigations suggest that a blast in an air conditioner, possibly due to overheating, triggered the fire. Forensic experts have been tasked with determining the exact cause of the blaze.

Identification of Victims in Dwarka Fire :

The victims have been identified as Pawan Upadhyay (39), his wife Tithi (29), their daughter Dhyana, and Pawan’s mother Bhavaniben (69), marking a profound loss for the family and the community.
