US entrepreneurs wants to invest in Ukraine says Zelensky

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky says on Sunday that during a visit to the United States this week, he met with key American businessman and financiers and discussed investment potential in Ukraine.

According to Zelensky, the businessmen, who included Michael Bloomberg, Larry Fink, and Bill Ackman, were willing to make significant investments in rebuilding Ukraine following its war with Russia.

Ukrainian President Zelensky in his Telegram post:

“The American entrepreneurs and financiers confirmed their readiness to make large-scale investments in our country immediately after the end of the war and receipt of security guarantees,” he said in a Telegram post that included images of the meeting.

“We are working for the victory and reconstruction of Ukraine.”

Zelenskiy traveled to the United States and Canada this week to seek sustained military and financial backing for Kyiv’s efforts to repel Russia’s 19-month-long invasion.
