Following their grand Udaipur wedding in February and a lavish Hyderabad gala, the couple returned to Rashmika’s roots for an intimate reception on April 6. Held at the Serenity Convention Hall in Virajpet, the event was a private affair, occurring just a day after Rashmika celebrated her 30th birthday.

Rashmika Mandanna looked every bit the “Kodava Moggu” as she paid homage to her heritage. She donned a stunning pink and olive-green silk saree, draped meticulously in the traditional Coorgi style with pleats at the back and the pallu secured over the right shoulder. Complementing her look with layered gold jewelry and a gajra-adorned bun, she radiated elegance. Her father reportedly marked the occasion by gifting her “Serenity,” the family’s bungalow in Kukloor village, further anchoring the couple’s connection to the region.

Vijay Deverakonda, looking sharp in retro-inspired flared trousers and a silver-detailed blazer, won over the local crowd with an emotional speech. He reminisced about his first trip to Coorg as a schoolboy, long before he met Rashmika, noting he had always found the women of the region exceptionally beautiful. “I’m married to a Coorgi woman, and I’m very happy,” he told the gathering, expressing his eagerness to explore Rashmika’s childhood home further.

The couple has already resumed work on their upcoming film, Ranabaali, directed by Rahul Sankrityan. As they balance marital bliss with professional commitments, their Kodagu reception stands as a beautiful reminder of the personal traditions that bind them together.
