Watch the first look of Ananya Panday from Dream Girl 2

On Monday, the cast and crew of the upcoming comedy movie Dream Girl 2 offered a new poster for the film. Ananya Panday’s first appearance was in a poster announcing the release of the film’s teaser and trailer. 

Ayushmann Khurrana released the poster on Instagram on Monday, writing, “Yeh hai Pari, meri Dream Girl (This is Pari, my dream girl)!” “The trailer for Dream Girl 2 will be released tomorrow!”

The poster features Ayushmann in the role of his character Pooja. Only his face is seen by the audience when he emerges from behind a brilliant curtain, while Ananya can be seen staring at Ayushmann’s character.

With the poster, the makers introduced Ananya’s character Pari. The actor looked stunning in his traditional costume. She wore her hair down and also accessorised with silver earrings and pink bangles.

All about the movie:

The movie teaser will be released on Monday, and the main trailer will be released on Tuesday. In addition to Ayushmann and Ananya, the film stars Annu Kapoor, Paresh Rawal, Asrani, Manjot Singh, and Vijay Raaz. 

Dream Girl 2 is the sequel to the immensely successful 2019 film Dream Girl. The 1st instalment was a huge success at the box office.

Dream Girl 2 will be released on big screens on August 25. It was planned to be released in July. The lengthy delay is due to the substantial VFX work necessary for the film.

In an earlier statement, producer Ekta Kapoor stated, “We want Ayushmann Khurrana’s character to look perfect as Pooja in Dream Girl 2, which is why we are taking extra time to perfect the VFX work for the face.”
