Prime Minister Narendra Modi tweeted a video on Friday showing a glimpse of the new Parliament building, which he will inaugurate on May 28 with a “special request.” 

The prime minister encouraged people to re-share the film with a voice-over expressing their feelings on the new edifice that would replace the iconic circular landmark. 

He also requested individuals to use the hashtag’ #MyParliamentMyPride’ when publishing the videos.

PM Modi tweets about the new Parliament building:

Prime Minister Modi stated in his tweet that the new Parliament building will make every Indian proud. This video offers a glimpse of this iconic building.

The video footage shows an amazing blend of modernism and ancient Indian architecture. Elements from Indian history and culture are effortlessly blended with contemporary aesthetics in the design. 

The structure’s facade is intricately detailed, with exquisite carvings and designs that pay homage to India’s rich cultural legacy.

Several BJP politicians, including union ministers and chief ministers, shared the video on social media with the hashtag’ #MyParliamentMyPride’.

“My heart swells with pride that India has its own built monumental Parliament Building completed in record time thanks to Prime Minister @narendramodi ji’s unwavering commitment,” Union minister Kiren Rijiju wrote.

“The new Parliament building, and its grandeur, stand tall as a symbol of India’s power and pride,” remarked Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma. Posterity will be eternally grateful to you, Hon Prime Minister Sir, for providing us with this gigantic icon, India’s dazzling temple of democracy, with every brick symbolising the commitment of her 1.4 billion people and their New India.”

“Behold the astonishing glimpse of the magnificent New Parliament building, a testament to India’s progressive vision!” tweeted Union Minister Anurag Thakur. 

This architectural marvel stands tall to shape India’s future as a symbol of power, unity, and democracy. Join us in celebrating India’s progress towards a brighter, better future.”
