Welcome To The Jungle Ends Run With Rs 193 Crore Gross

Welcome To The Jungle Ends Run With Rs 193 Crore Gross

Akshay Kumar’s multi-starrer comedy Welcome To The Jungle, directed by Ahmed Khan, has concluded its theatrical journey after roughly a month in cinemas. The film, part of the popular Welcome franchise, put up a respectable performance across domestic and international markets, though it didn’t quite live up to the sky-high expectations that came with its ensemble cast and brand name.

Final Box Office Numbers

The film closed its run with a worldwide gross collection of Rs 193 crore. Of this total, the Indian market contributed Rs 157 crore, while overseas territories added around Rs 36 crore to the tally. The numbers reflect a consistent, if unspectacular, run rather than a runaway blockbuster performance.

Was It a Hit or a Flop?

Produced on a budget of approximately Rs 125 crore, the film’s India gross of Rs 157.53 crore translates into a return of roughly Rs 32 crore, or about 25.6 percent over production costs. That puts Welcome To The Jungle in the “average performer” category rather than a clear-cut hit, especially given that trade watchers had anticipated a much bigger haul — many predicted a worldwide total in the Rs 250-300 crore range, with the film crossing Rs 200 crore net domestically.

Even so, the outcome isn’t a disappointment across the board. The film marks Akshay Kumar’s second successful release of 2026, following closely on the heels of Bhooth Bangla, reinforcing his recent box office comeback. While Welcome To The Jungle may not have scaled the heights the franchise’s legacy suggested it could, it still adds a steady, profitable entry to Kumar’s growing list of 2026 wins.
