The Kerala Story has proven to be a success at the box office. Despite the reality that issues surround it, the film’s popularity grows with each passing day due to positive word of mouth. 

Sudipto Sen directed the film, which stars Adah Sharma in the major role. Following the theatrical premiere of The Kerala Story, the filmmakers met with Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath in Lucknow.

Yogi Adityanath greeted The Kerala Story’s producers and star actress Adah Sharma. He chatted with the film’s crew and even posed for photos with them.

In an interview with ANI, Vipul Shah discussed his meeting with UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. “The Uttar Pradesh government and Yogi ji have taken this step, which has greatly boosted our morale and strengthened our thinking.” 

Because a vast number of people are watching this film, he has given a very powerful message to the public. So we are grateful to the CM that it occurred,” he stated.

On the other hand, the movie director Sudipto stated, “We came to thank the Honourable Chief Minister for declaring the movie tax-free and giving a chance to the citizens of UP to watch this film.”

On May 5, 2023, The Kerala Story was released in theatres, and as mentioned ahead, it is doing well.
