There are many countries who celebrate August 15 on their schedules as a public day.  The nations which celebrate like India are Bahrain, North Korea, South Korea, and Liechtenstein. Know the importance that August 15 holds for these nations: 

Bahrain:Show British Raj rule, pronounced its autonomy on August 15, 1971, over twenty years after India achieved its opportunity.
