On Friday, Aryan Khan, Shah Rukh Khan’s son, and his friend Arbaaz Merchant appeared before the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) to mark their attendance. In the drugs-on-cruise case, the two are free on bail.

Arbaaz’s father, Aslam Merchant, was seen in a video attempting to make him pose for the paparazzi as they exited the NCB office. Arbaaz facepalmed and said, “Stop it, Dad,” leaving the photographers in splits. As Aslam held him close and smiled for the cameras.

Another video showed Aryan ignoring the paparazzi and walking straight into the NCB office without pausing to pose.

Aryan khan and Arbaaz were arrested along with six others on October 3 following a raid at an alleged rave party on a Goa-bound cruise ship. They were allowed bail in the case by the Bombay High Court. After spending more than three weeks in the Arthur Road jail on a personal bond of one lakh each. They have been appearing before the NCB every week as part of the terms of their bail order.

A detailed bail order for Aryan was made public earlier this month. It stated that there is “barely any positive evidence” against him that he conspired with Arbaaz, Munmun Dhamecha. And others to commit an offense under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act.

Following the release of Aryan’s detailed bail order, Sanjay Gupta tweeted, “So Aryan Khan is and was innocent, says Bombay High Court. Who compensates for what he also his family have been through?” When asked about it at an event, Dia Mirza said, “I think the Bombay High Court commented.”
