Mohammad Rizwan praises Suryakumar Yadav and discusses their battle for the No. 1 T20I ranking

Rizwan says the difference between him and Suryakumar is that he bats first, while the latter bats in the middle order.

Mohammad Rizwan and Suryakumar Yadav are lock in a battle for the top T20I rankings.

Pakistan’s wicket-keeper batter is currently rank first, follow by India’s Suryakumar Yadav.

Rizwan was ask about the comparison between him also Suryakumar Yadav after his match-winning 78 from 50 balls against Bangladesh in the T20 Tri-series in New Zealand.

Rizwan praised Suryakumar while emphasising the differences between them. Suryakumar Yadav is a good player, he said. Jis tarah khelte hain, mujhe bohot pasand hai. (He is a good player, also I enjoy watching him play.)

“Magar jaha tak cheezen hai and different tarike se dekha jae kyunki middle order and top order mukhtalif cheezen hain” (There is a difference in terms of comparisons; I am an opener, while he is a middle-order batter).
