A horrific murder case of live-in couple reported in Mira Road
Similar to the horrible Shraddha Walkar murder case. A 56-year-old man was detained on Wednesday for reportedly killing his live-in spouse and slicing her body into pieces in Mumbai’s Mira Road district.
According to the authorities, the murder may have occurred three days ago. According to investigators, the accused, Manoj Sahani, 56, lived with the parts in the flat.

The killer and his murder victim, Saraswati Vaidya, 32, rented a flat in Mumbai’s Geeta Nagar Phase 7 for three years, according to police. According to the officials, the flat is registered in the name of ‘Sonam Builders’.
Around 7 p.m. on Wednesday, police received a complaint from other apartment complex residents about a terrible smell from Sahani and Vaidya’s flat. When the police entered the flat, they spotted Vaidya’s body parts.
“We believe Sahani cut the woman’s body into pieces to make it easier for him to dispose of,” stated Deputy Commissioner of Mumbai Police (Zone 1) Jayant Bajbale.
According to an officer assigned to the Nayanagar Police Station, certain body parts were missing, and they suspected the accused of disposing of them somewhere.
The police have filed an FIR against Sahani on allegations of murder and evidence destruction, and a forensic team has visited the flat to gather evidence.
