Who unintentionally lose access to a service because they missed a subscription opt-in message. Apple is also taking precautions to prevent developers from abusing the new rule. The Cupertino-based company was already working on this feature and even ran a pilot before releasing this update to the general public.

According to an announcement, Apple is continuing to “set the bar in making it easy and transparent for subscribers to view, cancel, or manage their subscriptions” with this move. When the cost of a subscription increases, users must manually agree to the price change. If subscribers do not respond to the notification to agree to the new prices, their subscription is automatically canceled.

The third requirement is that it be legal under local law.
