BJP MP Jyotiraditya Scindia directly attacks Congress, accuses the former MP government of corruption.

Scindia says Kamal Nath’s government was corrupt and says the by-elections for 24 seats, will be won by BJP.

On Thursday, BJP’s Rajya Sabha MP Jyotiraditya Scindia, for the first time, since leaving the party in March, directly attacked the Congress party. Scindia accused senior Congress leaders & Chief Ministers of Madhya Pradesh, Kamal Nath & Digvijay Singh, of being hurt because their party lost power in the state.

Scindia says Congress government in the state was “brashton ki sarkar”:

Scindia stated that the people of MP will vote for BJP in the upcoming by-elections for 24 seats. He described Kamal Nath’s 15-month-old government as “brashton ki sarkar” (Government of the corrupt) and alleged that the former government used every corrupt means, to stay in power.

Scindia responded to Congress’ campaign against him and said,” They have tried to sully my image…. Tiger Abhi Zinda Hai.”

Scindia highlighted that he had done crucial work in the fight against COVID-19 pandemic, despite contracting the disease, whereas politicians such as Kamal Nath & Digvijay Singh did little to help people during the Coronavirus crisis. Scindia also urged Congress to observe a Black Day, on the day the Emergency was imposed.

Loyalists of Scindia rewarded as cabinet ministers:

On Thursday, a dozen loyalists of Scindia took oath as cabinet ministers in the Shivraj Singh Chouhan’s government. A total of 28 ministers took oath today, in Madhya Pradesh, taking the Chouhan’s ministry strength to 34 ministers.

Scindia shifted from Congress to BJP in March, which toppled the Kamal Nath government in the state, just 15 months after winning the elections. Since then, Scindia has maintained decorum and has not directly attacked his former party, but at the occasion of the oath-taking ceremony of the new cabinet, Scindia attacked Congress directly and said that Congress was restless without power.
