Sakshi Malik spilt the beans on the wrestlers’ session with Amit Shah over the protest against Wrestling Federation of India chief Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh.
Olympic medal winner Sakshi Malik on Monday said the wrestlers had “normal talks” with Union home minister Amit Shah on Saturday evening over their ongoing rally against Wrestling Federation of India chief and BJP MP Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh, who is facing sexual harassment accusations, and no final solution was reached.
Malik, Bajrang Punia, and fellow Olympian and World Championship medal winner Vinesh Phogat have been opposing Brij Bhushan, demanding his detention on allegations of sexual harassment against seven wrestlers, including one minor. Singh has refused all the charges.

Reportedly, Shah listened to the wrestlers till late in the first high-level intervention into the persistent problem. Before, the wrestlers spoke with sports minister Anurag Thakur who ensured a fair investigation into their charges.
The late-night talk with Shah arrived days after the wrestlers went to Haridwar to immerse their medals in the river Ganga but were stopped by growers leader Rakesh Tikait who had given a proposal to the government to detain Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh before June 9.
