Check the release date of Alia and Ranveer starer Rocky aur Rani ki Prem Kahani

The Karan Johar directorial and the most anticipated movie of the year Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, has shared its official release date. Karan is back as the director after his 2016 Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. 

The movie is all set to hit the theatres on 28 July; previously, the movie was about to release on 28 April, but today the makers have released the first look as well as the release date of the romantic comedy.

As today the Dharma production shared the official poster of Ranveer, an Alia starrer, as shared several posters; in the first poster, we can see Ranveer, aka Rocky, in a funky look. 

The second poster, shared by Alia Bhatt on her official social media handles, features Alia, aka Rani, from the movie. 

And the third poster shared by the Dharma production official media handles features both the actors. The posters replicate the great chemistry between the actors as Ranveer and Alia are back together after Gully Boy, directed by Zoya Akhtar.  

All about the movie:

Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani is a family drama starring Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt. The movie also features legendary actors Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan, and Shabana Azmi. 

Karan will be directing famous actors Dharmendra and Shabana Azmi for the first time. Dharmendra will play a romantic figure in the film, going after both Jaya and Shabana’s characters.  

According to sources, Shabana will play Alia’s on-screen grandmother, while Jaya will play Ranveer’s on-screen grandmother. 

In the film, Jaya will also portray a sweet maker or halwai. The movie was shot in Mumbai, Delhi, and other cities. The plot will be loaded with comedy, drama, and romance.
