The Dubai-Mumbai flight staff said that despite numerous warnings of being in a ‘drunk’ state, the men continued to drink alcohol.

On Thursday, two men on IndiGo flight 6E 1088 from Dubai-Mumbai were charged for causing a fuss while ‘drunk’ on board. The two passengers who had drunk alcohol on the plane started hurling abuses at the staff and fellow people around. The Sahar police post in Mumbai filed a complaint on the scene.

According to a police report, Dattatreya Bapardekar and John George D’Souza, who are from Nalasopara in Palghar and Kolhapur, were coming back from a year of business in the Gulf. The passengers were celebrating with the liquor they purchased from a duty-free store, after which the staff had to remove the bottles.
