The famous Pubg love story of Veer Zarra, has gained much public attention, but who is Seema Haider?
On Monday, the Uttar Pradesh Anti Terror Squad (ATS) detained Seema Haider, a Pakistani national, with her partner Sachin Meena and his father, Netrapal Singh.
Haider and her four children were arrested earlier this month for illegally entering India, while Meena and his father were jailed for sheltering them.
Many people are fascinated by Seema Haider’s unnoticed arrival in India and her weird love story. Here, we bring you all the details regarding the ‘love story’ of the couple from arch-rival countries.
Who is Seema Haider, and what’s her love story?
According to the pair, Seema Haider, a 27-year-old married mother of four from Sindh, Pakistan, met Sachin Meena, a 22-year-old unmarried shopkeeping assistant from India, while playing the online shooting game PUBG during the coronavirus epidemic in 2020.
Seema and her children allegedly fled Pakistan and smuggled themselves into India. They initially met in Nepal in March. Seema and her children arrived in Noida in May through Dubai, Nepal.
Sachin met them, and they were leaving at a rented flat in Rabupura, Greater Noida, around 55 kilometres from New Delhi. The couple claims to have married and intends to stay in India together.
Is she a threat to a nation?
A first information report was filed at the Rabupura police station, using provisions of the Foreigners Act, the Passport (Entry into India) Act, as well as sections 120B (participant in criminal conspiracy) and 34 (act done by multiple people with same intention) of the Indian Penal Code.
This has created a major debate, with many wondering how she entered the country undetected. Concerns have also been created regarding her potential threat to national security.
Seema’s estranged husband, Ghulam Haider, who works in Saudi Arabia, wishes to be reunited with his wife and children. He requested their release from Indian and Pakistani officials.
Seema’s decision to stay with Hindu Sachin angered her Pakistani tribe. Seema’s house in Pakistan is at Bhittaiabad, a Katchi Abadi in Gulistan-e-Jauhar.
It includes a three-room part of an unfinished building on a narrow road full of waste and overflowing sewerage.
