Seema Haider asked permission to stay in India

Pakistani national Seema Haider is believed to have petitioned President Droupadi Murmu for Indian citizenship.

This comes amid new facts that have heightened the mystery surrounding the 30-year-old woman from Sindh who illegally entered India in May to be with her partner Sachin Meena in Greater Noida.

Haider has asked for permission to remain in India in her appeal. She claims to have been strongly affected by Indian culture and traditions, according to Hindustan Times sister website Live Hindustan. She has begged for mercy at a time when there are frantic efforts to deport her to Pakistan.

The love story of Seema Haider:

In 2020, Haider met her lover Sachin Meena in the private chatroom of the internet game PubG.

Their friends grew into love over PubG and then WhatsApp discussions, to the point where Haider came to Nepal in March of this year to spend a week with Meena in a hotel room in Kathmandu.

Two months later, she flew from Karachi to Dubai, then to Nepal, before illegally entering India. Seema Haider and her four children moved to Greater Noida via Lucknow and Agra and have stayed with her lover since then.

The Gautam buddha Nagar Police detained her, Meena, and his father on July 4. Three to four days later, the three were granted bail by a municipal court.

ATS questioned Seema:

She and her partner were questioned for two days by the Uttar Pradesh Police’s Anti-Terrorist Squad about her relatives and claims of her brother and uncle serving in the Pakistan Army.

As per the news story, she could properly read an English text given to her by the investigators. According to the website, UP ATS personnel questioned Haider about her Hindi competence because she was heard using difficult Hindi words while giving TV interviews.

According to the report, Haider told ATS officials that she learned Hindi while playing PubG with Indians. When faced with the fact that her partner, from UP, did not use such strong language, Haider remained silent.

According to sources, the UP ATS has recommended returning Seema to Pakistan. However, the Pakistani woman claims she will be assassinated if she returns to her home country.
