Finally Akshay Kumar get’s his Indian citizenship; shares Proof

Akshay Kumar is now an official Indian citizen, as he shares his proof of Indian Citizenship on twitter or X on the Independence Day. 

Akshay Kumar is now a citizen of India. He showed this on Twitter by sharing a photo of his official government documents. As he was once a Canadian citizen, which some have criticised him for.

Akshay Kumar shares proof of his Indian citizenship:

Akshay took to Twitter to show a document that listed his name as Akshay Hariom Bhatia. He tweeted, “Dil aur citizenship, dono Hindustani.” Happy Independence Day! “Jai Hind.” His fans applauded him and wished him a Happy Independence Day.

Akshay had stated in 2019 that he would seek an Indian passport shortly. He offered an update three years later during another Leadership Summit event.

Gadar and OMG 2 on Box Office fight:

Akshay’s most recent movie, OMG 2 with Pankaj Tripathi, was released this Friday and has been doing well at the box office despite facing strong competition from Gadar 2. 

Aside from that, he has the yet-to-be-titled Hindi remake of Soorarai Pottru, which is due to enter theatres on September 1. Radhika Madan and Paresh Rawal also play key parts in the film.

He will also be seen in the action thriller Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, starring Tiger Shroff, which is expected to enter theatres on Eid 2024.

For the fifth part of his blockbuster comedy franchise Housefull, Akshay will return with Riteish Deshmukh. He could also be seen in the highly awaited Hera Pheri 3.
