A fight broke out between former mayor Parul Trivedi and the former woman president. There has been a long-running dispute between the two over dominance in the party.

During the siege of Manpa, both of them fell for some reason. Congress leader Bharatbhai Budheliya separated the two. Former mayor Parul Trivedi suffered an eye injury in the fight. All the injured are shifted to a private hospital for treatment. Sources says Parulben may lodge complain soon. However, local Congress leaders are working to prevent this from happening.
