Most sixes by a batsman from India:
To date, M.S. Dhoni has smashed 209 IPL sixes, most of them by an Indian batsman and the 3rd overall behind A.B. de Villiers (212) and Chris Gayle (326).
Captain Rohit Sharma of the Mumbai Indians and Suresh Raina are Dhoni’s closest rivals. Both of them have hit 194 sixes in the IPL. Virat Kohli RCB captain is on number.6 with 190 sixes on the list.
As captain, the bulk of matches:
Holding a record most international matches captain, he has also captained in most of the matches in IPL. In 174 IPL matches, Dhoni, who has led Chennai Super Kings in ten seasons and Rising Pune Supergiant in one, has captained.

The wicketkeeper Dhoni has the most dismissals as a wicketkeeper in the IPL with 132 releases. Thirty-eight stumpings were inflicted by Dhoni, which is also the most by an IPL wicketkeeper.
