Gadar 2 is set to hit the box office; check advance booking stats

Sunny Deol’s Gadar 2 has sold over 2.7 lakh tickets in advance booking one day before its release. Taran Adarsh, a film trade expert, summarized the patterns at most major theatre chains around 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Pinkvilla reports on Gadar 2 advance booking:

Pinkvilla states the Delhi-UP belt is scheduled to open with an 85% occupancy rate. Almost 40% of this has already been reserved in advance. Patna has 75% advance occupancy, and Jaipur has 44%.

Sunny Deol reprises his role as Tara Singh from his 2001 smash Gadar: Ek Prem Katha in Gadar 2. The sequel, directed by Anil Sharma, who also directed the original, will be released on August 11th.

Is Tara Singh an Indian superhero?

Sunny recently stated that every man wants to see a superhero on TV and that his character Tara Singh is on a scale with the Hulk or Superman. “Superman, Tara Singh is our Hulk. Every man enjoys watching the mighty Hulk and Superman.

He believes that the (on-screen) hero will make things right. Tara Singh, like Marvel Comics. Working out does not grant you these abilities. “These are emotional powers,” Deol said at the 2023 Jagran Film Festival in New Delhi on the festival’s final day.

Using the iconic Hindustan Zindabad moment from Gadar as an example, the actor stated that when a character faces a difficult decision, God appears on screen to indicate the path.

“You then proceed. That is the superpower of sincerity, sincerity, and simplicity. That is what superheroes are all about,” he continued.

Gadar 2 will compete with Akshay Kumar’s OMG2, which comes out on the same day.
