India hits back at Pakistan’s criticism of Ram temple.

India hits back at Pakistan’s criticism of Ram temple.

Pakistan had criticized the launch of construction of Ram temple, and External affairs ministry has rejected it and asked the neighboring country to “not interfere”.

On Thursday, India strongly hit back at Pakistan’s criticism of the launch of the Ram Temple construction in Ayodhya, and asked the neighboring country to mind their own business and to refrain from “communal incitement”.

Indian External affairs ministry spokesperson rejects Pakistan’s criticism:

Pakistan was asked to desist from interfering in India’s affairs, by External affairs ministry spokesperson Anurag Srivastava. Srivastava said that the criticism didn’t come as a surprise to the Indian government, but such a stance still is regrettable. He said,” We have seen the press statement by the Islamic Republic of Pakistan on a matter internal to India. It should desist from interfering in India’s affairs and refrain from communal incitement. While this is not a surprising stance from a nation that practices cross-border terrorism and denies its minorities their religious rights, such comments are nevertheless deeply regrettable.”

Pakistan Foreign Office says Muslims in India are being marginalized:

On Wednesday, Pakistan had criticized the groundbreaking ceremony of Ram Temple, held in Ayodhya on the previous site of the Babri Masjid. Pakistan Foreign Office said that the flawed judgment of the Indian Supreme Court not only reflects the preponderance of faith over justice but also the growing majoritarianism in India, where minorities, especially Muslims and their places of worship, one way or the other were under attack. It further had stated that the Muslims in India were being marginalized.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi had performed the Bhoomi pujan of the disputed land in Ayodhya, to lay the founding stone of the Ram Temple, after a struggle of over 500 years.
